Where is the studio located?
The studio is located at 111 Old Evans Rd unit A in the Old Evans plaze behind Stanton Optical on Washington Rd
How soon should I book my session?
It is always better to book in advance, even though it maybe a tentative appointment to ensure that your family are on the schedule during the prime newborn time.
Do you provide props and outfits for the session?
Yes, outfits and props will be provided here in the studio, majority of newborn session are done with wraps and nude. If mom would like to bring in sentamental props to use during the session, they are more than welcome.
Why are session 2-3 hours long?
Newborn session are baby-led. I take my time and care for your baby while using my time efficiently. Your baby will need to take frequent breaks to be fed and comforted into a deep sleep. Babies are delicate and I take my time to pose them safely. After all they are the tinest human that you would ever hold in your arms.
How do I prep for a session?
I suggest feeding your baby a full meal about an hour prior to your scheduled session. Dressing you baby in loose fitting clothes as to avoid leaving marks on skin. Please bring extra bottles as your baby would probably eat more during their session. I do carry extra diapers and new pacifiers just in case you forgot yours. Even if your baby does not normally take a pacifier, I would still suggest to bring one along.
What is the turn-around time?
The turn around time for your unedited digital images is about 14 days, at which time you will be able to look through your online gallery and select your favorite images. Please keep in mind that the images that you will view will be soft proofed images and not fully edited. After picking the images, I would then edit, proof and order selected products which can take up to another 2wks depending on shipping.
My baby has flaky skin/acne should I reschedule?
Acne and flaky skin are unfortunately apart of being a newborn. Those things are temporary and will be removed in post production.
